Purpose
The Education Pillar Committee aims to develop sustainable talent to support Bermuda’s captive industry by:
- Raising awareness of the industry and the diverse career avenues it offers on-Island
- Engaging with schools, colleges, and universities to spark interest in insurance and reinsurance careers
- Collaborating with other industry associations to inform future professionals through training sessions, events, and career fairs
- Removing barriers to entry and broadening the pool of local talent
- Serving as a resource for information, networking, and mentoring support
- Providing valuable experience through internships and scholarships
